OK, so you found me. Yes, I am the creator of the Sodapopkids. I am Just Dahl. I am a graphic artist by trade. I have been in the graphics industry since I was 14 years old. I suppose this is where I brag how many years I have been a graphic artist. Nope, then that would be giving my age away. I have the Peter Pan syndrome of never growing up. If I only knew then what I know now, it would have been so much easier, but definitely not as much fun.
OBSESSED
I love all my characters, really! My family thinks I a a bit obsessed, but I am sure that is what drives me to create cartoons. I think everything I see is pretty funny. I try not to look like a lunatic outside my house.
A LITTLE BIT MORE
I found unconditional love in my family. And a great stress relief in my art.
And may I conclude in saying, "I don't get paid money for making these weekly cartoons." And any character that resembles someone you may recognize, is probably who you think it is, but I might not fess up to it freely. I'd like to thank the Sodapopkids for being real characters.

Growing up can be one great long memory, or it can be something we'd like to forget. And the high school years seem to take forever. Most people I meet say, "If I had to do it all over again...NO WAY!" The Sodapopkids Comic Strip is a great way to learn to laugh at life! Even when it sucks.
Each kid represents someone you've met or might meet sometime in your life. There are certainties in life. Every little sister or little brother is annoying. One of you teachers or friends will embarrass you in front of someone you like. Or you you will do a bang up job of embarrassing yourself. You will stare at someone you like, but heaven forbid you actually speak to them. Any homework is too much homework. Ever been grounded...yes? Face it, growing up can be tough but it's up to each one of us to deal it the best we can. The Sodapopkids poke fun at the joy and pains we all go through. My dad said, "Keet, (yeah, that's what he called me sometimes) it's the way you look at it!" So I guess this is the way I choose to look at life, just trying to see the humor through the pain. Well, I figure it's cheaper than therapy.
And, um... it's OK to chuckle out loud.
